Richardson & Reo-Coker join Granada CF on trial

Two English footballers participated in their first training session with Granada CF on Wednesday morning, with both on trial with the club at the orders of interim manager, Tony Adams.

Kieran Richardson, 32, has a wealth of top-flight experience in the Premier League and is versatile positionally, able to play as a left-back, winger or midfielder. Making his professional breakthrough with Manchester United, he earned Premier League, League Cup and FA Community Shield winners medals during his time with the Red Devils. Along with gaining 8 international caps with England, his extensive career continued with spells at West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland, Fulham, Aston Villa and most recently, Cardiff City.

Nigel Reo-Coker, also 32, likewise has extensive experience in the top two tiers of English football, firstly with Wimbledon, before lengthy spells at West Ham United and Aston Villa, followed by moves to Bolton Wanderers and Ipswich Town. Heading to Canada and the USA to try his fortune in the MLS, he's also played for Vancouver Whitecaps, Chivas USA and Montreal Impact.

Currently free agents, the English duo will be keen to make the most of the opportunity provided by Tony Adams and Granada CF, over the coming days.
