The GCF 1931 Foundation is the link between the club and the city, bringing it closer to the social fabric of Granada and responding to the social priorities of its inhabitants.

The project is built around the following values:

  • Commitment
  • Effort and perseverance
  • Responsibility
  • Discipline
  • Respect
  • Friendship

The Foundation aims to link all social work undertaken by Granada CF by promoting the following two key areas:

  • Corporate social responsibility to connect with the educational, business and cultural fabric of the city, collaborating with the university, technology park, music festivals, and much more.
  • Social work to develop its own projects which incorporate sport for the training of values to children and adolescents, working on these projects within the city and throughout the province of Granada. In addition to promoting campaigns, alliances, training programs and educating values, via the medium of sport.

Social Responsibility

  • Granada CF and its Foundation are conscious of their role as articulators of social initiatives in the city. It is for this reason why it develops and encourages social responsibility through alliances with other organisations and groups throughout the city, such as the University of Granada, Health Technology Park, or the International Festival of Music and Dance.

Programs

  • The GCF 1931 Foundation is committed to the social priorities of the people of Granada. This is why it launches the MovilizaT con Deporte (Mobilise with Sport) project, aimed at youngsters aged between 6 and 21 in poorer neighbourhoods in the north of the city. This project works on the values of sport to help encourage a change of attitudes, aiming to prevent youngsters from truancy or dropping out of school, or providing careers guidance for young adults towards vocational training, apprenticeships and the labour market.

Alliances

  • Alliances and partnerships are established between the GCF 1931 Foundation and other organisations, working together to improve children's rights, locally, nationally and internationally. Organisations and foundations interested in collaborating with us can connect with us via email.

Campaigns

  • The Club utilises it's strength of reach in social networks and through players as sponsors, to promote different awareness campaigns.
